Good morning. Good morning and welcome to today's New York City Council hearing for the Committee on Rules, Privileges, Elections, Standards, and Ethics. At this time, I would like to remind everyone to silence all electronic devices. Also, at this point going forward, no one is approached— no one is approached to dais. Chair, we're ready. Good morning. I'm Sandra Ohn, Chair of the Committee on Rules, Privileges, Elections, Standards, and Ethics.

I'm joined by my colleagues, Deputy Speaker Natasha Williams, Majority Leader Sean Abreu, Minority Leader David Carr, Deputy Majority Leader— he's not here— um, Council Members Elsie Encarnacion, Shekhar Krishnan, Linda Lee, and Kevin Riley.

The Committee on Rules, Privileges, Elections, and Standards and Ethics is meeting today regarding Section 10.60 of the Rules of the Council. It is necessary for the committee to discuss the confidential business pursuant to Section 10.60 of the Rules of the Council.

Therefore, I am making a motion for the committee to move into executive session pursuant to Section 105 of the New York State Public Officers Law. All those in favor say aye. Aye. Noting that the ayes have it, I'm now going to close this portion of the meeting and reopen in executive session.

I ask that all SF Committee staff clear the room. I also ask the Sergeant at Arms stop taping this portion of the meeting. If executive session results in decision to consider further actions and reconvene, we will not return. We will simply let the Sergeant at Arms know that we're not returning. If executive session results in a vote, we will return to regular session to report the vote when executive session concludes.

I'm again joined by my colleagues, Deputy Speaker Natasha Williams, Minority Leader David Carr, Majority Leader Sharon Brewer, Deputy Majority Leader Chris Banks, and Councilmembers Elsie Encarnacion, Shekhar Krishnan, Linda Lee, and Kevin Riley. The Rules, Privileges, Election The Rules, Privileges, Elections, Standards, and Ethics Committee opened a meeting earlier today to discuss confidential business pursuant to Section 10.60 of the Rules of the Council.

Because it was necessary for the committee to discuss confidential business, the committee voted to move into executive session pursuant to Article VII of the Public Officers Law. We are now returning to open session to make public the outcome of today's meeting.

During the executive session, the committee voted to work toward resolving an issue.
